Melody comes from rock royalty. Her dad is a rock star legend and her brother is a realty show star. They are famous so when people hear her last name, they know who her family is. She has fought hard to get the career she wants but she is also not very trusting of strangers who want to get close to her. They usually have an ulterior motive.Chase Wright is America’s favorite movie star and superhero. So, when he starts to see his latest costume designer in a different light, he is not so sure what to think.These two are beautiful together. They complement each other when they are not fighting and scorching hot when they finally take the plunge and give in to their desires.Arell Rivers has done an outstanding job of bringing this rock star family to life. Melody is tired of always being referred to as "Braxton Hunte's Daughter". She really want to be known for herself and her own accomplishments. She graduated from NYU Magna cum Laude in costume design. She got herself a job working on a hit HBO series, but she always wondered in the back of her mind: Did I get the job because of who I am? A Press Release announcing her hire talked about her being the daughter of Braxton Hunte not of her degree.The Lead Costume Designed that Melody worked with was given the opportunity to work on the latest Superhero movie in a trilogy. The movie was being filmed in Italy and she took Melody and another associate with her. During the filming, Melody developed an intricate stitch to use on the inner leg seam of the hero's costume, as a result, Melody had to stitch Chase, the leading man, into the bottom half of his costume everyday. This process took about 2 hours every morning.Melody and Chase do not hit it off very well in the beginning. Melody dislikes Chase because they grew up in the same neighborhood and his younger sister made her school years a living hell. Chase thinks Melody is a stuck up bitch because she tries to maintain a professional attitude. You guessed it.... Melody and Chase begin to talk and discover things they have in common and begin to see each other off the set. While most of the film crew is very sick with some flu-like bug, Chase and Melody go away together "to escape the bug". They have great adventures.The characters in this book are well developed and so easy to love. The story is wonderful with twists and turns and of course a HEA. This book is another great read by a wonderful author. It is not necessary to have read her earlier books to enjoy this one but be warned..... if you haven't read them yet.... you will want to after reading this one.
